It doesn’t matter how much money you make there is always room to make a little more and if there isn’t I bet you could find ways to save a buck or two. There seem to be thousands of sites guaranteeing a six figure income working from home or how you can live for a dollar a day. We all know that these are all gimmicks no matter how good they sound; so who can you trust on the internet? Here are 5 websites guaranteed to keep more money in your pocket.
Retail Me Not
I love this website and their corresponding app. You can find so many deals that you rarely ever have to pay full price for anything. I visit the site before I leave on a shopping trip and if I find myself at an impromptu lunch I will definitely check the app before I pay.
Amazon Mechanical Turk
This may have started as a novel idea but it has grown into a real life marketplace. Mturk (for short) allows users to perform tasks or take surveys in exchange for a monetary reward. This can range anywhere from .01 to $100+ depending on the task and the time involved. I usually aim for the high priced low time surveys to make a little extra cash.
This site is full of great information on how to save money and make money while working from home. It has a humorous tilt to it as well as a few parenting anecdotes along the way. You will not find a more comprehensive collection of making and saving money on the internet.
Free Stuff Times
I love this site; they collect all of the free stuff available around the internet and put it in one place for you to get. In 2014 I went the entire year only buying one razor because I got all the rest for free.
This one takes a little bit of patience but it is kind of nice for a rainy day fund. It is kind of a Jack-of-all-trades website when it comes to money making, the only problem is that the trades don’t really pay big. You can make two cents at a time by viewing email ads but that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can also make money by playing games, taking surveys, listening to the radio, watching videos, and more.
These are just some of the ways to keep more money in your pocket using the internet. There are definitely more out there, just ask that Dollar Dad guy. If you have any suggestion I would love to hear them in the comments.
