Xyron Creative Station – Sticker Maker and More

Is a Xyron Creative Station a tool you need?  Ask yourself some of these questions.

Have you ever been working on a paper crafting project, and found yourself frustrated with your adhesives?  Is your wet glue is too wet?  Are your glue dots are too lumpy?  Does your glue stick glue your fingers to your project instead of your embellishment.

Or, while making a set of cards, do you simply find yourself growing tired of repetition.  You put glue on the paper.  You stick the paper to the card.  By the 3rd or 4th card you find yourself thinking, “I wish I could just make a sticker out of this.”

Well, you CAN!

Xyron Sticker Maker

Xyron has been making sticker makers for a long time.  In fact I’m a proud owner of a Xyron 150 X.  I have been using it for years to make stickers out of small magazine clippings.

With a Xyron sticker maker you run your paper through a machine by pulling or manually turning a crank.  These are not energy sucking devices.  Once ran through the machine you burnish it to make sure the adhesive is stuck, and then you have a peel and stick image ready to go onto your artwork, onto  your card, indo your art journal, wherever you want to go.

I love my Xyron X, but it can only do small stickers and not much else.

What I really want is a Xyron Creative Station

Xyron products like the Creative Station are available at amazon.

The Xyron 624632 Creative Station can make something as large as 9 inches into a sticker.  That would make it so easy to do something like turn a gelli print into an art journal page background without having to use a lot of glue.

That 9″ reach can also be used for multiple items.  Need to glue 8 small paper embellishments to 8 different cards?  Run them through the machine together and then you just have to peel and stick!

And it’s not just for stickers.  You can also get a re-positional adhesive cartridge for a temporary stick.  There is a lamination cartridge that you can use to preserve recipe cards, artwork and more.  How about making your own bookmarks to match your cards?

There is a laminate/adhesive cartridge.  Make something sturdy and protected on one side and sticky on the other!  Great for making labels on your craft storage bins!

There is also a magnet/laminate cartridge.  So easy to preserve artwork, and have it ready to hang on the fridge.  Create your own save the date reminders.  Or my personal favorite idea is to turn your business card into a magnet, and your customers will think of you every time they open their fridge!

This awesome machine actually can use the 9″ or the 5″ refills.  So if you are working on a smaller project you can save some waste by using a smaller cartridge.

I will say that I don’t currently own one of these amazing machines, but it is on my wish list!
