Bellator 123 Picks

Bellator MMA Season 11 kicks off on Friday the 5th, September, 2014. Going head-to-head with UFC on the same night, and just across the city in a different arena, it is a good night for MMA fans.

Under new management Bellator  has a new direction, and new hope from MMA fans all across the globe. Ex-Strikeforce President Scott Coker is now at the helm, and with his experience and past record, people are expecting big things from Bellator this year and next.

Bellator MMA are putting on one of their strongest cards to date, I am certainly very interested for this one and recommend it to any MMA fans who have not seen a Bellator MMA event before.

Here are my Bellator 123 Picks:

Pat Curran vs Patricio Pitbull

An anticipated rematch, Curran won the first by decision but was put to a tough test. No longer the champion, Curran will be hungry yo get the belt back, and Pitbull is always on the cusp of a shot. This will be another competitive, close match.

Pick : Curran

Cheick Kongo vs Lavar Johnson

A fight that could easily of happened in the UFC, two big heavyweights who were once highly ranked. On the slide of their carers now, but still capable of putting on a very entertaining and dangerous fight,

Pick: Kongo

Muhammed Lawal vs Dustin Jacoby

Fan favorite Lawal is looking to rebound from his loss to rival Rampage Jackson and work his way back to a title shot, or another shot at Rampage. Jacoby is a loss less experienced and has the possibility of scoring a massive upset.

Pick: Lawal

Bobby Lashley vs Josh Burns

Lashley has not competed in MMA since November of last year, he has been busy doing Pro wrestling and most MMA fans had all but forgo about him. He reappears on this Bellator card to give it a wider fan base. But he is inconsistent at best, even up against an opponent with a less than impressive record it still doesn’t feel right backing him.

Pick: Lashley
