Books for Children: Unstoppable Me

Books for children: Unstoppable Me!: 10 Ways to Soar Through Life by Dr. Wayne W. Dyer.

Dr. Wayne W. Dyer? Ever heard of him? He’s a self-help guru. Some love him. Some loathe him. Some dare say he’s a fraud! Nonetheless, he keeps on keeping on. He is not known  prominently as an author of books for children and grouped with other writers like Jane Yolen. However, he did write a children’s book which has enjoyed some popularity: “Unstoppable Me: 10 Ways to Soar Through Life”, published in 2006. This isn’t the only children’s book he has written. There are several others. But a lot of people seem to like this book; especially elementary school teachers. They believe it encourages self-esteem in young children and promotes a healthy attitude of self-respect.  Hmmm?  That doesn’t sound so bad, does it?  🙂
