Chicken Stuffing Casserole


This is one of the most yummy and different casseroles that I have had in a long time.  You can make it as is or you can add almost any vegetable you like and it will be even more delicious!  Peppers, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower, even green beans make a great addition.  This casserole is so easy to make and only takes 30 minutes to cook, you can make it and be eating it in less than an hour!  If you want some great comfort food, this is it!




  • 1 box Stove Top Stuffing, prepared as directed on the box
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into cubes
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • I small can of mushrooms, drained
  • 1/3 cup onions chopped small
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • dash of salt and pepper


Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Stir milk, garlic powder, onions, mushrooms and soup together until smooth

Add 1 cup of the cheese.

Stir in chicken pieces, and pour into a 9×13 pan,

Sprinkle very sparingly with salt and pepper

Spread remaining cheese on top of the mixture

Spoon the stuffing over top of the whole pan

Bake uncovered about 30 to 35 minutes

I usually do add some vegetables in my casserole, some of my favorites are green peas or cauliflower.  I serve this casserole with a green salad and iced tea, and my family loves it!  Try it and you will see.
