The organization claim they will be using datacasting technology to send data over wide radio waves, in order to provide the free Wi-Fi service and to make the internet accessible for free to anyone in the world.

The project also plans to provide free and unrestricted/uncensored access to the internet for people in countries such as North Korea and China where governments have censored online activity.
