No link between violent games and real life violence

video game violence

A study out of the University of Queensland, Australia finds there is no link between violent video games and anti-social behaviour.

The ‘violent’ games used for testing were Grand theft auto IV, CoD: Black Ops Zombie mode, and the violent clone of Lemmings called Lamers.

This experiment/study mirrored a study done in 2010 by Greitemeyer and Osswald that also showed no discernable link.

These studies help to cement the claims of the video game industry and gamers that there is truly no real link between violent games and real life violence.
