You Whisper to Me
March 17, 2016

I stand there unmoving by the shore
And weep alone beside the rippling water
On wings of love there you begin to soar
With soothing words you whisper my granddaughter
Just listen to the wind and there I’ll be
Caressing you, protecting you forever
Release your worries to me and be free
To rise above your fears through each endeavor
And never wonder dear if you’ll fail
For failing’s part of life that makes us stronger
And with it comes another triumphant tale
To tell your kids as each of them gets older
When you release your fears and try your best
That’s when you’ll conquer each and every test
