Here’s a five-day itinerary that helps you experience the best of the city-state.

1. Day 1: Discover the History of Singapore
As you alight from your Delhi to Singapore flight, check into your hotel. And, take a few hours of rest before you head out. The first-day can be low-key and include only air-conditioned museums so that you don’t feel weary and worn out. The Raffle’s Hotel museum can be the perfect starting point to shift your travel sleep brain to historic buff mode. Check out the Singapore Art Museum, National Museum of Singapore and Asian Civilisations Museum to explore the history of this island nation.

2. Day 2: Sentosa Island
Thrills, excitement, peace and tranquillity all await you on this entertainment paradise. Nothing spells vacation like losing yourself in the crystal blue waters as you lie on the sandy white Tanjong beach under shady coconut trees. Check out Silosa beach if you’re into water sports.
Try out local cuisine in the Palawan beach. After a filling lunch, head to Siloso Point to catch a closer look at marine life at the Underwater World and Dolphin Lagoon. Fish spa, Zip lines, a thrilling rollercoaster, Dolphin and Seal shows, pyrotechnic shows are some of the other attractions on Sentosa Island.

3. Day 3: Marina Bay
A trip to Singapore is incomplete without a visit to Marina Bay. Begin with a stroll along the waterfront promenade to admire the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel. Catch a breathtaking view of the Singapore skyline from the Singapore Flyer. Cruise on the Singapore River by taking a boat from the Clarke Quay or Boat Quay.
Head to the rooftop infinity pool in Marina Bay Sands Resort hotel to enjoy a soothing dip while you take in the breathtaking views.

4. Day 4: Get Close to Nature
Singapore is known as the Garden city due to its abundance of natural attractions. The Chinese Garden, Gardens by the Bay, Palm Plaza Garden are some of the best gardens in the city. Check out the Jurong Bird Park, one of the biggest bird parks in the world. The African Waterfall Aviary gives you a spectacular view of African birds flying with the magnificent waterfall in the background.

Singapore is a shopper’s dream come true. From huge malls to tiny boutiques, Singapore has it all. Orchard Road, Chinatown, Little India and Mustafa Centre are some of the most popular shopping zones in the country.
