Singapore F1 Grand Prix Grandstand Race Track in Progress

As Singapore prepares for the Formula 1 Grand Prix 2014, I got the chance to see and walk on the still unfinished race track at the Marina Bay Pit Grandstand. While taking a night walking tour along the Marina Bay walking trail, there we saw the stadium lights brightly switched on.

It was 11 in the evening of September 13, 2014. The crew and the heavy equipment vehicles were busy setting up the place where F1 racers and spectators will gather to witness this historical event.

F1 Grand Prix Grandstand

Grandstand tickets are almost sold out by now. The hotels and shops around the F1 Grand Prix circuit in Singapore are bustling with tourist activities.  I may not be able to watch this event this year; but hopefully one day, I will.

Good luck to all F1 racers, teams, and Grand Prix crew.
