Adidas recently launched its Climachill products for this year’s spring and summer seasons. With the weather warming up, athletes need to remain as cool as possible in order to maximize their effort during competition.
Last year, Climachill changed the game with 3D aluminum cooling spheres in the neck and the back of its shirts that prevents athletes from overheating. The spheres provide instant cooling on contact. Plus, the micro fibers in the fabric of the shirt act like mesh, which removes excess moisture from the skin. Also, the Sub Zero flat yarn contains titanium, which allows for the shirt to transfer more heat away from the body.
The difference this year is that Climachill is now available in black. Although black absorbs the heat from the sun, the Climachill is able to withstand temperatures up to 122 degrees Fahrenheit (50 degrees Celsius).
In the video below, basketball star Jeremy Lin, soccer star Gareth Bale, and tennis star Simona Halep show how Climachill keeps them cool under pressure.
