UFC Champion Jon Jones has been entered into rehab

UFC champion Jon Jones has been entered into a rehab facility after being tested positive for drugs. The champion in UFC light heavyweight has been considered a great mixed martial arts fighter.

During last Sunday December 4, Jon Jones won the fight between him and Daniel Cornier in a main event of the UFC 182. The fight was held at MGM grand garden. The fight took five rounds. Before the game they conducted some test and he came positive with having intakes of cocaine—benzoylecgonine. But gaming commission has not banned this kind of drug so he was not kicked out of the game therefore having him win the fight last Sunday. The gaming commission of Nevada has been happy about the decision the fighter has made.

This is the statement Jon Jones released to Yahoo Sports:

“With the support of my family, I have entered into a drug treatment facility. I want to apologize to my fiancĂ©e, my children, as well as my mother, father, and brothers for the mistake that I made. I also want to apologize to the UFC, my coaches, my sponsors and equally important to my fans. I am taking this treatment program very seriously. Therefore, at this time my family and I would appreciate privacy.”
