With two fight nights in the same date, but from two very different parts of the world MMA fans are being spoilt this weekend. Bisping vs Rockhold will take place earlier due to the time difference, but no true fan will miss either card.
I have written up my UFC Fight Night Shogun vs St. Preux Predictions, it’s always difficult on these Brazilian cards as the crowds really get behind their own fighters and seem to give them a lift. We see a lot of upsets on these cards, but that’s not always a bad thing.
My UFC Fight Night Shogun vs St. Preux Predictions are as follows:
Mauricio Rua vs Ovince St. Preux
St. Preux is a late replacement for an injured Manuwa. This will not phase the seasoned Rua though, he doesn’t gameplan so much for fights and is very adaptable during a bout. It will prove a little too much too soon in the promising career of St. Preux, but valuable lessons will be learnt.
I am a fan of Ian McCall, I cannot lie. However, it is with a heavy heart I picked him to win this bout, Lineker is one of the best in the world at this weight-class. He has his issues making weight, but in his native country I expect it to be a little easier and for him to come in 100%.
Warley Alves vs Alan Jouban
Alves is best known for being part of the TUF Brazil show, and Jouban is coming off his UFC debut and a spectacular win. I expect fireworks in this bout, it can go either way but I think Jouban will have superior conditioning and can turn it into his favor the longer the fight lasts.
Claudio Silva vs Leon Edwards
There is not a lot known by these two fighters, they do not even have wiki pages as yet. So a stab in the dark..
