One of the areas in our homes where we spend most of the time is our bedrooms. It is often considered as an extension of ourselves, a place where we can express our individual personality. However, most of the time, we tend to neglect this area when it comes to decorating. Money can be a significant factor to this, but most of the time, poor creativity and lack of time are the real reasons why we have a hard time decorating our bedrooms.

A new fresh arrangement always makes a room feel new. Do not be afraid to try new layouts for your room. Get rid of items that are just adding up to the clutter inside your room. Give away old clothes or stuffs that have been piled up and are of no use in your bedroom. You will be surprised with how much space you actually have inside your rooms. You might be able to add a few pieces in your room after clearing up some old stuff.
Welcome the outdoors in your room
Add a plant to your room. Look around your house to see if one of your existing plants would look good inside your bedroom and move it in there. Try to find a plant species that will require you the least time and effort for maintenance to be able to keep them lively even without your full attention. If you can’t find a plant ready for relocation, make one! Many plants can be grown from cuttings, either your existing houseplants, one a friend may let you cut, or even some outdoor plants. You can even use old cupboards, teapots and other interesting chinaware as your plant pots.
Display memories inside your room
Add memorabilia to your room. You can display your childhood pictures, pictures of your friends or even your favorite artists. Add images and items that boost your creativity, makes you feel happy and inspire you to relax and simply enjoy spending time inside your homes.
Freshen up the air
